Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello folks....my name is Heidi and I'm a very sweet 2ish year old boxer girl.  I was surrendered to LSBR with my buddy Rocky.  Our former mom is in the military and, due to changes in her schedule, she had to make the difficult decision to surrender us.

We would love to find a home together but if that can't happen, then we would each be satisfied finding wonderful, loving homes separately.

I would do well in just about any home.  I'm house broken and enjoy the company of other dogs, children as well as cats.  I'm a sweet girl with lots of love to give and I know I will make someone the perfect companion!
