Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

The adorable face you are looking at belongs to me, Kessie. I’m a boxer mix, and out of my litter, I am the only puppy that survived. My mom is the beautiful Kenah. So while I am sad, I also know how lucky I am to be alive. I was bottle fed by my wonderful foster, so now I am growing nice and strong! I like to play with the Chihuahuas in my foster home (they don’t realize I am going to get lots bigger than they are!), and I love kids too. I hope some nice family will not be able to resist me and will take me to my forever home very soon!
