Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Rocky and I'm a very happy, high-spirited, playful, and energetic 6 ½ year old boxer boy.  And very handsome.........did I say handsome?

I'm very loyal to my people and I love affection!  I enjoy long walks, outside play, and chewing on my rawhide bones.  I'm an active boy with an athletic build. I do enjoy the company of other dogs as well as kids!  As a bonus, I'm house broken and crate trained!!  

My ideal home would be one with lots of love, lots of attention, and lots of playtime!  Does that sound like something you're up for?  I promise lots of love and laughs in return!
