Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Patches and I'm a senior girl who has been in a wonderful home my entire life. You can imagine, then, how sad I am to find myself without a home during my golden years! My owner recently passed away and I was surrendered to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.

I'm a very sweet, laid back girl.  I enjoy just hanging out with my people, getting an occassional belly rub and going for walks!  Is that too much to ask?!  I'm good with other dogs as well as children but am not a fan of cats!

If you are looking for a lovable companion, a walking buddy, or both then I would love to meet you!
