Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

My name is Chip. Aren’t I a handsome boy? I’m almost completely white, except for just a bit of charcoal around my ears. I was abandoned at an animal shelter, along with a note, by my former owner. That makes me pretty sad. I’m a really sweet guy, and I get along with most dogs. Plus, it goes without saying that I love people. I don’t mind my crate at all, and my foster home has a doggy door, so I’ve learned to do my business outside. I hope that one of these days, very soon, I’ll get to go to my forever home — and that I will never, ever be left on a doorstep again.
