My name is Woodrow. I'm approximately 2 years old. When I came into the LSBR program I was suffering with demodex mange, a condition brought about by stress. Who could blame me....I was out on the streets alone trying to fend for myself....it's a stressful place! This condition was easily treated though and now that I've been getting treatment, I'm looking fabulous! Just look at my 'before' and 'after' pictures to see for yourself!
I enjoy the company of other dogs and I REALLY, REALLY love people but the thing I do not care for are cats...absolutely so kitties for me! I have been around kids and I adjust quickly to the type of play that is permissible. I respond very well to verbal commands and I know the basics like 'sit' and and 'off'. I really enjoy rolling over on my back for nice belly rubbing, going for car rides, and just hanging out with the family! I'm so well behaved, I'm allowed to go to baseball practice, go on family trips, etc. My foster mom says that I have a very sweet, playful personality! I think that says it all!
I am just so thankful to finally be safe and looking forward to finding my own family to love me so I can love them back!
