Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Have you ever seen that cute movie Turner & Hooch? Well I may not be a Dogue de Bordeaux but I make an excellent sidekick! I'm a sweet and energetic boy who's between one to two years old.  

I would love to be in a home with children and/or other dogs so that I have someone to play with.  I would also make an excellent running partner!  Because of my playful, energetic nature, I would probably do better in a home with slightly older children.  

Don't get me wrong though....I love cuddling on the couch and watching movies too.  I just need a owner and a couch to do that with! If you're looking for some excitement in your life for 2013 and a new sidekick, look no further.  I'm ready to fill your days with laughter and whatever life may bring us!
