I got my name Jedi because I have a seriously strong life force - plus I'm a survivor!! The people that used to have me did not take care of me so the SPCA was called out by a concerned neighbor. The wonderful people at Lone Star Boxer Rescue took me in, and now I'm in a safe, loving foster home with a kind volunteer family who have loved me and put some meat on my bones - because I needed it! I finally know what it's like to be a house dog and I LOVE IT!! I'm doing things like sitting, walking on a leash, and being good in my crate. I love to give hugs and LOVE to cuddle - one of my favorite past times. Since I used to be kept outside it was tough to learn how to be an indoor dog, but I have mastered my house training skills, and my foster mom says I am a really smart boy and am learning other things SO fast. I like my soft dog bed to sleep on at night - it sure beats the rough, cold dirt ground. I get along with all my foster brother and sister dogs and the cat. I haven't been around kids, but I think I'd love a family with some older kids to walk me and play with me. I have five years of love to give and catch up on, so I'm eager to sit in your lap and be your loyal friend. Please give me a chance to show you how wonderful I am. I am also heartworm negative, so I am good to go and ready to play!
