Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Isaac, and I recently discovered that an ancient meaning of my name was "one who laughs." Well, that fits me to a "T" because I am one happy boy! I'm four months old, and my foster family will tell you that I will wiggle my way into your heart. I'm active and sociable and very high energy (I'm just a kid, after all!). I love just about all living things: people (most of all), other dogs and cats... and who knows, I probably love squirrels and caterpillars, too! If I could choose the perfect new home for me it would be this: another dog to be my best buddy and a family who will spoil me rotten!
