Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi there! I am Chunky Monkey. Chunky is just a nickname people have given me since I am the largest of my siblings. My foster mom says I "eat fast" too but that is because the food is great and I am a growing boy!  I love to cuddle! And if you don't mind, I would prefer to sleep right next to you if you give me the chance!  I also love to watch TV and Animal Planet is one of my favorite shows. Rope toys and things that squeak make me so happy and I really love playing! My foster mom also says I am super smart since I have learned my name among other things in record time! 

Won't you take me home so we can hang out and watch some TV together?
