Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi... I'm Hooch! Yeah, I share the same name as that dog from the movie but I have been told that I am much better looking. I love just about everyone that I meet including kids and other dogs.  I like hanging out and laying around with all of my friends but my favorite thing to do is play! My foster mom is teaching me some tricks and all about the crate. She says I am a fast learner but I really just love making people happy. I can't wait to show my forever family all of these new things I have learned. If you are looking for your new best friend, well here I am!
