Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi....My name is Ginger (like the gorgeous movie star)!  I'm a young, energetic girl who's about 2 years old.  Here's what my foster dad has to say about me:

"Ginger is a dream.  Young and energetic, but able to settle down as well.  She has those light peircing eyes. She's friendly, good with other dogs and kids of all ages.  She has the long tongue and that under bite is just so darn cute!!

She is great in the crate and needs a little help on the leash, but is an eager student.  Also, Ginger is a nice little watch dog.  I don't thing she would ever hurt a fly, and she doesn't bark at all most of the time, but when a stranger approaches the house, she has a nice big bark."
