My name is Annie. I am a two and one-half year old American Bulldog that is a former victim of animal cruelty. I went to my foster home weighing only 30 pounds and had several health issues. Now I weigh 58 lbs and I'm healthy! I eat a raw/home-cooked diet, but I am a good eater. I like everything, even vegetables and fruits! My foster mom is constantly teaching me new things. I like to go to pet-dog clicker training classes, and I can do a lot of neat things. I know several commands, and I walk well on a leash (boy, do I love to go on walks)! When I went on vacation, I learned to swim, hike up mountains, and herd cattle with my Border Collie foster brother Rio. I also have a German Shepherd mix foster sister named Molly. I get along with them very well, and we play a lot. I like other dogs too, but sometimes there are some I don’t care for. So we have to be careful when we meet any new dogs. I haven’t known any cats, but I don’t think I would like them. Did I mention how sweet and affectionate I am? I will lie next to you and warm up your feet on the couch while you are watching TV or reading. I play hard and sleep hard, and talk about snoring! I am crate trained. Housetraining has taken awhile, but as long as you keep me on a schedule, I do really well! Overall, I need lots of exercise, both mental and physical. I need an experienced dog owner that will continue to work with me. I would also like a playful dog to romp with. I’m learning to be a dog, and getting really good at it!!!
