People might ask how I came by the name of Gunner. The story I was told is that my first daddy was a Gunner in the military and alas Gunner was born.
I am very afraid right now because, well you see, I have been displaced the last 8 months and I am very scared I will never find my forever home. I love kids and I am very energetic so I'd do better in a home with older children who I can't knock over......of course I would not do that intentionally! I really love my people and, because I have been left before, I sometimes get anxious when away from my humans. For that reason, I would do better in a home with another dog so I have company all the time but that is not a deal breaker.
I am housetrained but I don't really care for a crate. My foster mom has let me run free with my foster sister and brother and I am very proud to report I have been a very good boy!
My foster mom says I am very good on a leash, I guess that's a good thing but so many things outside scare me and make me nervous. I am making great strides in conquering that fear slowly and she is confident that will soon be a thing of the past.
What do you say about taking me home? I'm a sweet, loving boy that deserves a chance.....please contact me soon and let's see if we fit.
Signing off,
Gunner
