Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi Friends, my name is Lucky and after you hear my story you'll understand what a great name Lucky is for me.  I found myself wondering around in a parking lot. My mom and siblings were gone and I was shaking in my little paws.  I'm a tiny guy and much too young, only about 5 weeks old to be out on my own.  Everything was so big and scary not too mention I missed my family.  Just when I thought all was hopeless, a kind human found me and rescued me.  See how Lucky I am!
 
I am now in a wonderful foster home and the vet thinks I am a boxer mix puppy.  Whatever I am, all I hear when people meet me is "He is so cute!" so maybe I'm a breed called "cute".
 
I will be ready for adoption at 8 weeks of age so around Labor Day weekend.  If you are looking for "cute" and want to give a little guy like me a forever home so I never have to be alone and scared again, please give me a call.
