Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Lanny and if you want a new family member that is gentle, easy going and great with other dogs, children of all ages and kitty cats too, I'm your pup.
 
I'm a bull mastiff/lab mix and I'm about 1 - 1.5 years old.  I don't mean to brag but I have the best traits of both breeds.  I'm laid back like a bull mastiff but also fun-loving and smart like a lab. I'm also pretty handsome and sometimes my lip gets caught on my tooth and I make people laugh with my funny smile.
 
I am excellent in my kennel and enjoy playing but also enjoy chill time.  I miss having a family and if I could play "doggy lotto"and win my dream family, I would do so every single day.  I have so much love to share and just need a family to give it to.  Without love, what else is there?  Please let me love you and your family.
