Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi folks...my name is Kenna and I'm a very sweet and mellow 3 year old girl.  Unfortunately, my start to life has been a very bumpy one which makes me extremely anxious to find a wonderful forever home to call my own! 

In my foster home, I'm getting used to a loved dog's life!  I'm becoming more and more playful everyday.  I've really come to enjoy my toys which I affectionately refer to as 'my babies'.  I'm enjoying going for walks with my foster family and enjoy being around the other dogs and children in my foster home.  I don't know a lot about cats so I prefer not to be around them.  I'm working on my house training and doing a pretty darn good job!

If you are looking for a sweet, playful but mellow girl, then I'm all yours!
