Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello! I’m Koda! And, I don’t know – maybe I was named that because the KODA radio station in Houston is also known as Sunny 99.1, and I have a very sunny personality! Like all of my bothers and sisters in LSBR, I’m looking for the perfect home, so let me tell you a little about myself to help you pick me. J I am crate trained. I love to go on walks, and I am a perfect lady on the leash. I am great with kids, and I love babies! (Did someone say snuggle??) I love other dogs. (I do not love cats.) I can sit, lie down, ride in the car and I have that boxer handshake down! I am sweet and gentle and playful and beautiful. So… what are you waiting for??
