Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

When someone asked George Mallory why he wanted to climb Mount Everest, he is reported to have said, "Because it is there." So if you want to know why you should adopt me, my answer is, "Because I am here." And because I, Mallory, am a beautiful and well-trained five-year-old flashy brindle girl. We middle-aged gals have it all over the young ones: we've gotten over the puppy silliness, the training angst, the jealousies over other dogs. Quite simply, I'm ready to just ease into your family and make everyone feel at home. Now doesn't that sound nice?
