Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Introducing Piper!  Hello Houston.......My name is Piper......I’m a 3 year old sweetheart that is absolutely a love bug!  I love attention and I love to give lots of sweet kisses!  They say I’m a gentle giant....a real gem!  I have what you’d call selective hearing.....I’m not really interested in commands but I’m attentive to your praise!  LOL!  

I walk well on a leash, ride well in the car and I did well when around people as well as squirrels!  I’ve not yet been observed around kids or but I think I’ll do very well in all cases!
