Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

Ranger, an energetic white male boxer, is about one and a half years old. Surrendered by his owner, he is a sweet boy who gets along with kids and dogs alike. He is house and crate trained, and quite a jumper - so much so that he needs to have at least a six-foot fence to keep him grounded. Ranger has fun playing fetch and loves to ride in the car. As playful and active as he is outside, he is just as calm and peaceful indoors. Ranger is an affectionate and friendly pup who would bring any family lots of joy.
