Maddie is very healthy! She has made it through a tough time and has turned out to be a super boxer! She was able to nurse her puppies! Maddie is cat friendly, child friendly, dog friendly and loves her crate! She is considered a "dream dog" by her foster parents. She still needs to go through heartworm treatment, she can be adopted during treatment. Please give Maddie her forever home! She deserves it!
Maddie is a very gentle fawn female. Emaciated when she first came to LSBR, she was also heartworm positive, pregnant and had pneumonia. Sadly, only two of her puppies survived. Maddie is not able to nurse her puppies because she has been so malnourished and has been unable to produce milk for them. But she is still a wonderful mother, cleaning them and tending to them as best she can. As soon as Maddie puts on some much needed weight she can begin heartworm treatment. She is feeling much better and has come such a long way since we took her in. Maddie would make an excellent companion and would love to have a forever home. Please consider giving a home to a sweet boxer who has never had one to call her own.
