Hoss is approximately seven years old and appears to be prematurely gray due to the difficult life he has endured. He was rescued from the Lumberton area following Hurricane Rita and will most likely require surgery on his back leg due to a previous, unknown injury. He has several scars on his body, and has suffered a wound to his muzzle that we found unbelievably stitched with wire. Hoss does well with the female canines in his foster home, but he may not do as well with other males. Hoss is house and crate trained, loves attention and appears to be smiling all the time. This affectionate boy is in need of a family who can give him a loving, comfy home to call his own.
