This adorable puppy has quite a story to tell. His mom, Annie and her sister, were dumped in NW Houston. For over six months, they lived alone in a field enduring heat, cold, abuse and lack of food, water and shelter. This all changed when some kind ladies started feeding them and then captured them at Christmas.
A few days later Annie gave birth to six puppies, all of whom were adopted quickly. This baby's luck changed just two days before his new owner planned to pick him up. He couldn’t keep dry food down, and he was diagnosed with Congenital Mega Esophagus Disorder. This means that his esophagus is too large and will not push food into his stomach. There is a good chance that he will grow out of this disorder in a year or so, but there is no guarantee. To keep food down, he needs to be fed a soft, canned food while in an elevated position, so that gravity will force the food into his stomach. So far this technique has been
working fine and he feels great. He loves to play and cuddle. He is doggy-door trained and has had his first round of vaccines. His neuter is already pre-paid. Won’t you consider adopting the cute boy? For
the little extra time it takes to feed him, he promises to repay you with loyalty, love and devotion.
