Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

The main character in Jane Austen’s Emma was beautiful and smart – just like me. Now, her Emma wasn’t deaf, like me, but we share the same curiosity and interest in people. When I was rescued, I was, quite frankly, miserable. I was suffering from sarcoptic mange, and I was terribly thin. (Yes, you can be too thin!) I am getting so much better, and I am really enjoying playing with my foster siblings. I am very sweet, petite girl, and I love to cuddle (especially if you let me get on the sofa with you). I hope you find it in your heart to bring this Emma into your home.
