Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

I am a beautiful, mature girl named Zena. I found out that Zena means "stranger" or "guest" so I guess that indicates that I am going to be living in a new home soon. I hope so! I am a really sweet girl that suffers, sometimes, from a bit of anxiety. My owner passed away, and I was dropped off at a shelter. Missing my family, and then being thrown into an unfamiliar place could cause anxiety in anyone! I'm house and crate trained, very healthy and so, so ready to find a home where I can live the rest of my life.
