Update 4/19/16: What a difference some medicated baths, food and love can do! Look at me now! I'm now in a wonderful foster home, I've gained some weight and my skin is looking SO much better! Take a look at my 'before' and 'now' pictures!!!

You know what they say....when life throws you lemons, make lemonade! Well that's exactly what I plan to do. By looking at me, you can tell that life has not been good to me but you would only know that by looking at me from the outside. On the inside, I'm the sweet, friendly boxer you would expect me to be!
My name is Evert and no, I'm currently not the handsome fawn boxer boy I was meant to be...but give me a few months and watch me blossom! I'm approximately 5 years old and, although I'm in pain due to my skin condition, you would never know it by my personality! That's why I beg you not to overlook me because of the way I look.....after a series of medication baths, my skin will completely heal and I'll be looking spectacular! Stay tuned for updated pictures to show my progress!
I was found in the Cypress area and transported to the Houston SPCA before finding my way to LSBR. I'm now getting the vetting I need (much needed medicated baths, neuter, food) and will be ready for my loving forever home very soon! I'm a very friendly guy who loves people and other dogs. I know I'll be an awesome addition to almost any family and I can't wait for the 'home life' I SO deserve.
