Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!
Hi!!! My name is Juno short for Junebug!!! I was a stray taken in by a Mom and Dad with a whole pack of other pups!!! Too bad I can't stay with them forever, because I LOVE our house, and our yard, and our walks, and our toys, and our runs, and playing with the other dogs and showing 'em who's BOSS (that's Me!!!)!!!   My current Mom and Dad are equally sad they can't keep me but their landlord won't allow them to have anymore pups!  One of my Brother's is a Boxer named Michael who came from Lone Star Boxer just a couple years ago. I just KNOW the Good Folks over at LSBR are gonna help me find just as good a home as the one they found Michael and just as good as the one I have right now (or BETTER!!!)!!! Anyways, I'm somewhere between 6 and 9 months old (whatever that means) and LOVE to romp and rough house; despite my skinny frame and lanky build, I hold my own against these guys (especially that ol' Oscar!!!) and keep coming back for more!!! I sure am gonna miss those mutts when I'm gone.  Because I love to play with my four legged siblings, I would really prefer to have at least one other canine to companionize in my new home for when Mom & Dad are away (or just a break); after all, dogs make for Good Company and Tug of War with each other!!! I'm not sue what "kids" are, but I bet I'd simply be wunner'ful with them!!! I'm house broken and crate trained and am told those are "Good" skills to have acquired... Lucky Pup!!! Anyways, that's "me" in a nutshell... If you gave me a chance, I just know you'd LOVE me. And I'd Love you back harder than you know. Promise
