Remember the pop group BEVO from the 80's? Wait.....that was DEVO! Okay, I don't really know where the name Bevo came from but that's what they call me!
I'm a beautiful brindle boy that's about 6 years old. I'm a little on the shy side so it takes me a little while to warm up at first. In my previous life, I lived with a senior, small breed dog and a small child; however, I would rather not share my home wtih small children that don't respect my space. I'm mellow, very laid back, house broken and crate trained! Wow....that's impressive! If I were adopting a boxer, I'd adopt me! I love my treats (ie: will work for food!) and I know basic commands like 'sit'.
Here's a note that my dog sitter left on LSBR's Facebook page about me: Bevo is an unbelievable pet. I dog sitted him for a long weekend and he is a great house dog and loves to walk. He doesn't get on furniture (accept when I wanted him to!), he's quiet, not rowdy, he doesn't beg for food, house-trained, crate trained, obedient. He loves long walks and is very good on a leash. I love Bevo and wish he could be mine but I have an aggressive male dog that would not welcome him. Bevo is used to all the comforts of a loving family and home. I hope he finds these comforts again very soon.
I'm really excited about the next chapter of my life! I know my future companion is out there and I can't wait to meet them!
