My name is Hitch and I'm a five month old boxer boy! As you may have heard, I came to LSBR with a broken leg. Thank goodness LSBR took me in so I could get the medical care I needed to live a long, happy life! I had surgery on my leg mid-February which included a pin in my leg. Needless to say, I'm having to be really careful with myself while I heal. Do you know how hard it is for a 5 month old to be still?! My foster mom says that I'm healing nicely from my surgeries and am starting to use my leg a little bit; however, my activity will still need to be restricted for a few more weeks (late March)
My foster mom says that I'm quite the little 'spitfire'! I'm trying to run, jump, play and wiggle like any other little puppy. I LOVE my toys and carry them around with me at all times! Although I'd rather be romping and running, I do enjoy the time I spend with my foster mom. I sit on her lap outside and watch time go by. I also really enjoying cuddling with her at night!
I've got a lot ahead of me at the moment....healing is my #1 priority. Give me a few weeks and I'll be ready to start the rest of my life!
