Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING

Major is my name and I'm about 5 years old.  I was adopted as a puppy from LSBR and, thanks to our chipping protocol, I was returned to LSBR from a shelter in New Orleans.  I'm not quite sure what happened, but boy was I glad to get out of that shelter!

I'm a sweet boy who gets along well with other dogs, cats and kids.  My foster mom says that I'm a little 'jumpy' so I might do better with older children or younger children that are boxer saavy!  I walk well on a leash and I'm house trained.

I'm used to being in a loving home so I'm hoping to find another one very soon!  Can you help a guy out?!
