Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

WOOHOO! I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!!

My name is Remington.....such a regal name for a regal dog!  I'm roughly 3 years old and happy to report that I'm now in a foster home!

My foster mom reports that I'm very well socialized.  I could use some basic training and, because I'm food motivated, my foster mom thinks I'll be a 'quick study'!  Crate trained and house broken....done! 

I am way too curious about kitties so my ideal home will have no felines...please!  I do, however, love the company of my people including children.  I am also doing quite well with my fur sibling in my foster home!
