Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi there - my name is so right for me, because I am awesome to the Max! Which is why I can't figure out why my family gave me up. I've been pretty darn depressed about that - I lost my appetite for a while, but I'm better now. I try to keep a happy face on at all times! I'm house and crate trained and a wonderful loving pet but am a little nervous around young children and a little choosy of my 4-legged friends. I'm healthy and handsome and ready to go, so I hope you'll fill out an application right away to meet me. I hope I can find a forever home really soon so I can feel loved again!
