Poor Pearce....he was just taken in to LSBR and he is suffering from mange. This is a condition brought on by stress and Pearce was was under considerable stress as he wandered the streets of Houston in 100 degree weather hungry and seeking shelter.
He is safe now and is being treated by LSBR. He is now in a temporary foster home looking for a forever home! He has come a long way but is making very good progress. Just look at his 'before' and 'after' pictures. Here's a little more information about Pearce....He love to curl up in your lap and at 35 pounds, he is a lap-sized boxer! He's getting along well with his fur brothers and sisters and has even taken to using his fur sister's natural tail as a toy! Who could blame him....a natural tail is just something he's not used to! He is very good natured despite his condition. We just know he'll make a very good addition to any family once he is back in good health! Look at that face.....who could resist that adorable underbite?! Are you the perfect fit for Pearce?!
