My name is Joel. The first thing you shoud know about me is that I love to have my sides scratched! Yep, I know that sounds crazy but consider that it's equivalent to you having your back scratched....and don't you love it?! A good scratching is certainly worthy of a special boxer wiggle! In my foster home, I've learned that I must sit before I get my scratching!
Okay, so don't let the grayish muzzle full you....although I'm estimated to be 8 years old, who really knows! I sure don't act like it! In fact, I'm very playful and young at heart! I'd do well in a home with other dogs.....my foster mom reports that I love playing with my foster sister, Izzy although my playing can be construed as 'rough play' and sometimes my playmates don't like that! I'm also enjoying the company of the foster kids in my home....they are teaching me to shake! As for kitties, well let's just say we don't really get along. My foster mom reports that I do very well on a leash and I like to go for the occassional jog!
Like so many of my fur friends awaiting adoption through LSBR, I was found as a stray. I don't know how this happened but what I need to tell you is that I'm so ready to find a real forever home! Everyone that meets me says that I have a wonderful disposition (whatever that means) and I'm a real people pleaser! I have so much unconditional love to give to a home that is willing to give me a chance. What do you say?
