Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.
Do I not look like a precious little stuffed animal? My name is Morris, and I am a 10 week old boxer/St. Bernard mix. Isn't that a fun combination? My mom was a stray that was found with me and my brothers and sisters just after we had been born. They have all been adopted, but my foster mom saved the best for last, so now I'm looking for my own special family. I am adorable and fluffy and playful... but I do love nap times, too! I think it's kind of fun being in my crate. I feel safe there. I'm so glad I don't remember being homeless; it makes me sad to think of my mom being out there all alone. But I'm focusing on the future, and I can't wait to find my forever home!
