Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Nikki and I'm a very sweet young girl about 1.5 years old.  I was found by a nice family wandering in a neighborhood.  When they found my 'owners' they turned me away.  I cannot imagine why and neither can my foster mom. 

My foster mom is a former trainer at Petsmart and she says that I am a very special little girl, only about 40 pounds of pure love with a huge heart!  I'm doing very well with my two foster brothers, a Rottweiler and a Blue Heeler.  My foster mom is teaching me to be the perfect house guest so besides my extremely sweet demeanor, I'll have all the manners necessary to find my forever home!
