Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Jazzie!  I'm a very sweet, well-behaved 5 year old (approximately) fawn girl. Just recently, I found myself all alone, wandering the streets when a nice lady, my foster mom, found me and took me in!  Now, I'm happy and adjusting very well to family life and I'm looking for my forever home! 

My foster mom describes me as a 'people' dog.....I enjoy the company of my human friends for sure!  But, I do enjoy the company of canines and would love to have a playmate!  I'm friendly, enjoy going for car rides and playing with my chew toys.  Now here's the good part:  My foster mom says that I am not a barker, fence climber or digger!  I'm a good balance of play, run, and rest!  Oh, and I'm housebroken!  Don't I sound like the perfect addition to your family?!
