Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Eat your heart out – Rizzo’s here!  I am a petite and adorable two-year old girl that is sweet, gentle and energetic. My foster dad likes to call me athletic, because I love to run and jump around outside. But I have learned to behave like a lady indoors, and I have been told I have “dream” temperament! Nice! I get along with my foster siblings (dogs and kids!), and I adore hanging out with my family. I had a gash in my left flank, but it has been stitched up nicely, and I think I’ll have a pretty cool beauty mark when it’s all healed! In the words, again, of my great foster dad, “She’s the bomb!” I think you’re gonna like me. A lot!
