Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hey y'all, I'm Houston! I'm a local boy who was wondering the streets and got picked up by animal control. They say if you're lucky you get a second chance and that's exactly what I got, the biggest blessing of all, a second chance at life. I'm a 2 year old who's big and brawny yet I have a sweet and cuddly side too. I'm current on all vaccinations, heartworm positive (but will undergo treatment soon), and an all around good Texan boy who's just looking for my forever home and a person to play fetch with or cuddle on the couch. Please say you'll consider me for adoption, I will be the best  friend you ever had and will love you more than you could ever possibly imagine!!
