Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Happy New Year, everyone! My name is Milo, and because I was found wandering around, a bit lost, I may have been named after that cat of Milo and Otis fame - or even that chocolate drink made by Nestle (because of my dark brown color). But I like to think that the nice couple who rescued me took one look at me and exclaimed, "My! Look at that beautiful boxer!" And thus the name Milo. I am one happy boy to be off the streets, believe me. I'm about two years old, and I'm really friendly with other dogs. I'm already house and crate trained, too. I'm dealing with a little demodex right now, but that should be taken care of really soon. The sweet family I am living with right now can't keep me, so I hope you'll fall in love with me, just like they did. You'll find that my love (oh, again - Milo!) will fill your home and your hearts.
