Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Jack, and I bet you're wondering what a lab/retriever mix is doing on a boxer website! Well, one night I was cold and lost on a very dark, very busy street when a nice lady from LSBR took me in. Am I lucky or what? I have two foster sisters and a big foster brother. I love to play with them, and I love to give my foster sisters lots of kisses. My foster mom says I am so handsome with my thick black coat, pearly white teeth and melt-your-heart light brown eyes. What can I say? I am such a stud. I am perfectly happy running outside, playing or resting my head in your lap. Please - won't you take me home in time for Christmas?
