Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi everyone! I'm Meris, and I'm a four and one-half year old, very petite female (seriously, I don't even weigh 40 pounds!). I would love to be a lap dog if you'd let me! I tested well with cats, and I get along fine with other dogs. I think I'm a rather pretty girl, and I still have my natural tail - with a cute white tip - that I love to wag. I'm crate and house trained, which I know will make my future family very happy! And what would make me even happier? Finding that loving family in the very near future! Please give this mellow girl a chance!
