Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Hello – I’m Eva, and I think I’m just as pretty as the Longoria and Mendes Evas, don’t you? I’m not only nice to look at, I also have an incredible personality – plus I am smart, focused and spunky! And snuggly. Oh, and sweet. And fun. OK, you get the picture! This is kind of a cute story that one of my LSBR friends likes to tell about me: I have a little thing I do when given the "down" command. I turn one circle, lie down and then lift one hind leg as if I were going to present my belly. It’s just a little thing I do, but it’s apparently very charming! I need to spend a little more time around other dogs to know if I like them a lot, but the most important thing to know is that I love people and will make a wonderful addition to your family!
