Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi – I’m Jude. I bet you are thinking, boy, he is even better looking than Jude Law (or, you might be humming that Beatles song if you are of a certain age group...) – I don’t care which it is as long as you are thinking of ME! I am six years old, and I was picked up as a stray. Who would let me live out on the streets? For that matter, who would let any dog end up homeless? Let me tell you a little about myself: I’m good with other dogs, and I am calm and very friendly. Oh. And very handsome, in case you hadn’t noticed yet. So let’s take this sad song and make it better – please take me into your heart and home.
