Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hello I am Reyna!  I am a beautiful medium sized three year old female fawn Boxer and I am quite possibly the sweetest dog you will ever meet! My foster mom says I am pretty low maintenance for a Boxer as I am very laid back and prefer cuddling with people over rough housing with my foster brothers. At times I have a tendency to be protective of my foster mother, so I need to go to a home without other dogs or to a home that will to take time to help me adjust to their dogs.  I do great with cats and I am housetrained and crate trained. I am very intelligent, easy to train and I have already learned several commands. I am starting to do pretty well walking on a leash.   I will make a great addition to your family!
