Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

I'm a real looker, aren't I? No wonder they named me Mae West. Actually, I would be happy with any name, since I was just rescued from an absolutely squalid environment; I didn't even know what it meant to be clean. Let me change the subject and tell you about myself (a much more pleasant topic). I'm a boxer mix, about one year old. I'm great with other dogs, I know lots of commands, and I'm house and crate trained. Right now I get to go to work with my foster parent, and I am always on my best behavior (I even get to hang out on the office couch). I've been told that I have great potential as a competitor in agility or obedience, and that I might even be good at tracking. But I think the most important thing is that I'm a very sweet young girl that will make someone a wonderful companion. So, what's stopping you? Why don't you come up and see me sometime?
