Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Update, as of 1-24-06, a brindle female and a black female have been adopted. Macy and Rosco, two special boxers that were rescued from a shelter in Gonzales, have recently been adopted together. Macy had a litter of seven puppies with Rosco; the puppies are in Austin and still need to be adopted. These precious pups were born on Wednesday, November 23, the day before Thanksgiving. They should be weaned and ready to go to their forever homes by mid-January. Please consider giving one of these adorable puppies a forever home. Deposits are currently being accepted for them. There are 3 black females and 1 brindle.
