"Chip," as this handsome boy is known by his foster family, is a doggone great dog! His name comes from the fact his eyes look like melted chocolate chips, and they will indeed melt your heart! He is affectionate and friendly to people who greet him, and he loves to give sweet boxer kisses. Chip is crate and house trained. He gets along beautifully with his foster family's two boxers (male and female) employing great temperament and charm. Chip has done extremely well with the two resident cats. One of the cats will walk under his belly or chin with no problems. However it goes without saying, introducing Chip to new felines would require strict monitoring. He is obedient when told "no", but can get over excited. Chip has been in heartworm treatment (crated) for almost two months, so he likes to jump for joy on potty breaks. He may need a little instruction in this area, or he may settle nicely once he regains his freedom. The cost of Chip's treatment has exceeded $750.00.
