Melina is a 2-to-3-year-old female who was rescued from the woods off of Memorial Drive, where she'd been spotted by commuters for weeks. Apparently, each day during rush hour, Melina would sit by the side of the road and watch the traffic whiz by -- dangerously close to her. Melina seems to have a very sweet disposition, but her personality is still
being evaluated by volunteers. She will do best as an only dog or with a submissive male. Melina is house trained, and knows basic obedience commands. She is heart worm positive, has completed the first half of her Heartworm treatment and is currently undergoing the second half. We are looking for a very special, permanent home for this sweetheart. @ The Fritz.
